House of Fraser, Glasgow
Fila got in touch with WSG as they wanted some help to improve their product presentation in retail outlets. They recognised that their brand had lost its individuality in the way it was distributed and merchandised, with their sportswear on sale at many outlets but without a distinctive identity to set it apart.
We worked with Fila’s Design consultant and their chosen Design House in reviewing and developing their brand guidelines to arrive at the right format. This particular project was to put Fila into the House of Fraser with a design that would make it stand out from the crowd, inspired by the Italian Heritage – quality, clever but simple.
The backbone of the perimeter system was our own Linear:8 track system that combines flexibility in carefully calculated merchandising levels with a range of fittings that are minimalist in appearance but able to be adjusted simply and safely.
Our expertise in use of materials and sourcing skills enabled the design to be bottomed and the project made and delivered within a tight timescale. Detailed communication before installation meant that we could send a team overnight to install during closed hours, and was completed snag-free.
The result was that our customer was delighted: “It is the best display in House Of Fraser, and stands out pleasingly against the other systems around.”
